Exercises to be demonstrated / completed by the participants:

 

1.     Positioning- of the patient, operator, assistant, scope, video stack 

2.     Preparation of the kit-removing sheath, priming the line, white balance

3.     Preparation of the oral cavity- antiseptic mouthwash, use of mouth prop, tongue retractors, check retractors

4.     Identifying the parotid/ SMG papilla

5.     Intubation of the duct

6.     Application of nettleship dilator

7.     technique of using lacrimal probes for serial dilation

8.     Orientation of sialendoscope before Intubation of duct 

9.     Examination of primary distal system

Parking

Car parking is available at a number of small car parks situated around the City Campus. Payment for car parking is made through the Ring-Go application, which can be downloaded online. Please use the School Visitor code 62650. This allows for you park for just £5 per day for the whole day. Ticketing is otherwise quite aggressive around the City Campus and we wish to avoid this happening to yourselves.
